Find a dehumidifier for your space

Choose only conditions that are essential. Begin with how water must leave the unit, then add a capacity minimum, measured upward lift or dry-weight limit if those are real constraints. Unknown facts will not be treated as a match.

Capacity and water removal

Choose the requirements that determine whether the appliance can work in your room.

Published capacity tiers distinguish manufacturer rating classes; they are not guaranteed extraction in a particular home or room.

A pump is not needed when a continuous hose can slope to a lower drain; check whether the exact model requires its tank to stay installed. The Haier HEN30ET and HEN70ETF manuals require the bucket seated for gravity use; HEH50ET’s manual does not establish bucketless operation. HEN70ETFP pump max lift is not published, and that exact model is recall-suppressed. The Hisense DH6024KP1WG requires its bucket to remain fitted for the documented routes; its gravity garden hose is separate, while its pump plan uses the included 16-foot hose and an outlet strictly below 16 feet. Danby’s exact 50/60-pint manuals require the fitted bucket: the ME and BSWDB are no-pump gravity models; the BJP2 and 060 pump-hose limit is 15 ft total with vertical lift unspecified; the BSPWDB manual states maximum distance and rise of 16 ft. The Hisense DH5026KP1G page confirms a built-in pump and included hose to a sink/window but does not set a numerical lift or total hose limit; only a generic pump need is established. LG’s discontinued UD501KOG5 is bucket/gravity-only. UD501KOJ5 adds a pump and ThinQ; its fitted bucket is part of normal pumping, and the manual says the supplied hose end must not be placed higher than 16¼ ft (5 m). Its 50-pint label uses the former 80°F DOE procedure; do not treat that as a same-condition comparison to later ratings.

Air-deflector movement changes where discharged air is directed, not the dehumidifier’s rated moisture-removal capacity.

This is a suffix-specific equipment check, not proof that a heavy ducted unit is a portable room appliance or safe on stairs.

Two outlets do not mean two independent humidity controls or guarantee that a duct layout will work; check duct resistance, installation and airflow.

The current Cube guide documents bucketless gravity separately. The Smart Access family manual does not document operating without its side-access tank. A pump is never a bucketless plan in these reviews. Midea MAD50PS1WBL has no exact-model bucketless instructions in the checked product/support sources; its unknown status is not a match.

This means Danby’s local Smart Dehumidify mode, not Wi-Fi or app control. Exact pages/manuals establish it for DDR020BJ2WDB, DDR040BJ2WDB, DDR050BJ2WDB-ME, DDR050BJP2WDB, DDR050BSWDB, DDR050BSPWDB and DDR060BMP2WDB; do not transfer by capacity alone.

Earlier GE AHW models are discontinued owner/reference records, not current new-purchase recommendations. Their entry here is for identifying an installed unit or comparing a specific used or clearance listing. This also applies to the exact GE ADHE 25/35/50-pint suffixes; the reviews describe features and current product-page availability separately. Earlier GE ADHR/AWHR labels remain exact-suffix references; ADHR50LB and AWHR50LB differ by their Wi-Fi documentation. Earlier Haier HEN30ET, HEH50ET, HEN70ETF and HEN70ETFP are discontinued references, not new-purchase matches; HEN70ETFP requires model-and-serial recall checking and is blocked from results. LG UD501KOG5 and UD501KOJ5 are exact discontinued black PuriCare references. KOG5 has no pump documented; KOJ5 adds pump/ThinQ, but the normal pump plan retains its 13.3-pint bucket and the manual sets a 16¼-ft pump-hose-end ceiling. Both 50-pint labels use the pre-June-2019 80°F DOE procedure, so compare exact test conditions. GE ADHL25LD is also an earlier reference: its exact page says no longer manufactured, while the linked manual supports a fitted bucket or downhill gravity hose; exact pump and Wi-Fi mapping remain unknown.
