A useful fit for

The current Santa Fe Ultra V-series member with a 155-pint/day 80°F/60% RH manufacturer rating (128 at 73°F/60% RH), EPA-listed part 4047300, optional outdoor-air ventilation and fixed whole-home HVAC duct integration. Rated for manufacturer guidance up to 3500 sq ft, not a room guarantee.

The main tradeoff

V155 is the largest of this three-model manual family and is 112 pounds; capacity and airflow are not substitutes for checking duct static, filter clearance and a suitable drain. It has ECCO multi-coil construction, but the current EPA IEF conflicts with the manual table. It has no built-in pump or collection bucket.

Your needs, this model

Does it fit your priorities?

Does Ultra V155 meet its exact 155-pint/day manufacturer rating threshold?

The exact page and data sheet list 155 pints/day at 80°F/60% RH and 128 at 73°F/60% RH. These are controlled test points, not guaranteed household extraction.

Explore this need in the finder →
Can Ultra V155 run with bucketless gravity drainage rather than an uphill pump?

Yes only when the documented 3/4-inch gravity connection can reach a lower drain with the prescribed pitch. The base unit has no tank or built-in pump; a separate pump accessory does not meet an integral-pump need.

Does the exact EPA record for 4047300 meet its current IEF threshold?

EPA exact model number 4047300 lists certification and an IEF of 3.26 L/kWh. Santa Fe's manual table conflicts at 2.9 L/kWh; the matcher uses the current EPA exact record and preserves the version conflict.

Explore this need in the finder →
Is Ultra V155 documented for whole-home HVAC duct integration?

Yes. The exact V-series manual calls it a fixed ventilating dehumidifier that integrates with heating and cooling duct systems; the return, supply, backdraft damper and static-pressure plan still require design.

Explore this need in the finder →
Can Ultra V155 provide optional mechanically ducted outdoor air?

The exact model sheet/manual provide an optional 8-inch outdoor-air intake; a separate ventilation calculation, damper/control and code-compliant installation are still required.

Explore this need in the finder →
Is the 112-pound dry Ultra V155 within a stated handling limit?

Santa Fe lists 112 pounds for the unit. This is not a safe-lifting recommendation; delivery, suspension supports and service access must be planned separately.

The Santa Fe Ultra V155 is the largest of the V100/V125/V155 trio, with 155 pints per day rated at 80°F/60% RH, 128 at 73°F/60% RH and manufacturer application guidance up to 3,500 square feet. Its practical distinction is the higher capacity and blower output plus Santa Fe’s multi-coil ECCO construction. It is still the same fixed, ducted, gravity-draining whole-home equipment class—not a room dehumidifier made portable by a large headline number.

This review follows the exact V155 product page, its TS-2137 data sheet, the model-listed TS-2157 V-series manual and the EPA’s exact 4047300 certification record. Raw product-page and standalone V155-sheet downloads returned HTTP 403; the local archive contains only transparent response evidence for those failed routes, not their HTML/PDF bytes. Exact first-party browser observations, the retrieved shared manual and EPA data support the assessment.

More capacity and airflow, under specified conditions

Santa Fe rates this part at 155 pints/day at 80°F/60% RH and 128 at 73°F/60% RH, with 7.1 and 6.5 pints/kWh under those respective conditions. It markets the unit for up to 3,500 square feet, but square footage is not a load calculation. The V155 is a plausible candidate for a larger or more demanding whole-home plan only after the installer accounts for climate, moisture sources, duct loss, return placement and how dry supply air reaches the occupied areas. If a smaller home does not need its extra capacity or airflow, moving down to V125 or V100 can be the more proportionate choice.

The current EPA entry for exact part 4047300 reports ENERGY STAR certification, 127.51 pints/day under Appendix X1, IEF 3.26 L/kWh, 842 kWh/year, R-454B and “Meets Most Efficient Criteria: Yes.” This remains distinct from the manufacturer’s 155-pint AHAM-style rating. There is an unresolved exact-source conflict: the TS-2157 manual’s registration table gives 128 pints and IEF 2.9 at 73°F/60% RH, whereas the current EPA exact record gives 127.51 pints and 3.26. Santa Fe’s V155 sheet lists its own “Energy Factor” separately as 3.35 at 80°F/60% RH and 2.9 at 73°F/60% RH. The matcher uses the EPA exact record for IEF and certification, while the review retains the manual and manufacturer-sheet values as labeled; neither series should be substituted for the other.

The V155 shares a cabinet but changes the air plan

Its 435/395/360/322 CFM blower ratings at 0/0.2/0.4/0.6 inches water column are higher than V100/V125’s 385/350/305/260. The optional ventilation figures are also higher: 170/154/140/125 CFM at the same static points, with an 8-inch outdoor-air inlet. Whether those numbers are useful depends on the actual duct layout; they are ratings at defined static conditions, not air delivery guaranteed at every grille. The manual says to use at least 10-inch round duct for runs through 25 feet, 12 inches for longer runs, and keep total static below 0.5 inches water gauge. It recommends a dedicated central return into the unit and supply air to the HVAC supply, with a backdraft damper. A qualified installer should verify the pressure and ventilation calculation before treating the V155’s capacity as whole-home coverage.

The page gives the same 14.35-by-24-by-39.25-inch nominal dimensions as its V-series siblings and lists 112 pounds. A specification-sheet footnote disagrees with the page’s “without collars” label about what those dimensions include, so this should not be used as an opening-size guarantee. Allow the manual’s six-inch airflow clearance, 15-inch side space for filter removal, plumbing, duct collars and full service access. The unit includes a MERV-13 filter, onboard digital controls and a 24-volt terminal block; remote sensor/controller accessories are separate. No dBA rating is published in these exact sources, so claims that insulation or the image proves quiet operation would go beyond the evidence. V155’s ECCO label refers to its multi-coil efficiency/capacity design; it does not itself predict performance in a particular home.

Gravity drainage is the included path

V155 has no collection tank and no built-in lift pump. Its manual describes gravity drainage with a 3/4-inch male NPT/PVC drain assembly, a quarter-inch-per-foot pitch and a drain outlet at least 6.75 inches above the floor drain arrangement to fit the required trap. A secondary pan and float switch protection are called for over finished space; the float switch is separate. The company offers an optional condensate-pump kit where lift is needed, but the reviewed materials do not specify a maximum rise for a pump included with the V155—because there is none. A pump essential answer or numeric lift request should not pass on the basis of an optional accessory. Make the route and water-safety plan before selecting the model.

When the extra V155 capacity matters

Choose it for a designed fixed whole-home installation whose calculated need warrants the larger capacity and airflow, especially where optional outdoor-air ventilation is a planned part of the design. Compared with V125, the V155 is 30 warm-condition pints/day larger, weighs eight pounds more and raises rated blower flow; it also adds ECCO multi-coil construction. EPA’s IEF record is higher than the V125’s, but annual consumption is higher because the certified capacity and use profile differ—do not convert one field into a direct bill estimate. V100 is the lighter and smaller-capacity alternative; V125 is the middle capacity. A household needing a tank, casters, app operation or built-in pump should instead compare a different configuration, including Santa Fe’s separate stand-alone products. Confirm exact part 4047300, installation pressure, measured fit, controls, electrical supply and a lower gravity outlet with the installer.
