Model comparison
Hisense DH2526K1W, DH3526K1W, DH5026KP1G and DH6024KP1WG
Hisense’s 25-, 35- and 60-pint models differ in capacity class and in how much certainty the published drainage information offers. The smaller two are bucket-oriented listings with a garden-hose mention; the 60-pint DH6024KP1WG has an exact manual that documents gravity and pump procedures separately. Start by choosing a water route you can actually install.
Compare the labels, not just the room-area headlines
The DH2526K1W is a 25-pint, single-speed model. Its ENERGY STAR record lists 24.89 pints/day, a 1.70 L/kWh integrated energy factor and 314 kWh/year. The DH3526K1W moves to a 35-pint, three-speed class; its record lists 35.32 pints/day, a 2.01 IEF and 363 kWh/year. Hisense advertises 1,500 and 3,000 square feet, respectively. Those are manufacturer coverage headlines, not guarantees for every floor plan or dampness source.
The 35-pint record has the higher standardized IEF, while its standardized annual energy figure is also higher. Neither figure predicts the bill in a particular home. Both models are certified and their records mark them not connected-capable. The product pages mention a bucket and a garden hose, but do not state an upward lift limit or tank volume. For planning, count the fitted-bucket route; do not treat the hose reference as proof of a pump or a specific gravity setup.
There is also a separate Costco-associated HD3526 with its own 35-pint listing and certification record. Do not merge it into DH3526K1W: the exact HD3526 manual lists LOW, HIGH and AUTO, which means two fixed manual fan levels plus an automatic choice. Its manual supports a fitted bucket but does not establish a hose or pump plan. The same class label therefore does not settle which controls or water route suit a particular installation.
When the water has to go up
If your drain is higher than the appliance, the DH6024KP1WG provides better documented detail: its exact manual requires the bucket fitted, limits the included pump hose to 16 feet and requires discharge height below 16 feet. That is a different configuration and a different plan from the DH2526K1W and DH3526K1W pages. Measure full hose length separately from vertical rise, and never transfer the DH6024 limit to another model.
The separate DH5026KP1G is also advertised with a pump and included quick-connect hose, but the exact product/support materials reviewed do not state its lift ceiling or total hose reach. It is reasonable to treat pump presence as a known feature; it is not reasonable to borrow the DH6024’s 16-foot limits. If your drain has a fixed uphill height, the DH5026KP1G is not confirmed for that route until its own instructions establish the limit.
Choose based on the constraint that cannot bend
- 25-pint rating and a fitted bucket: compare the DH2526K1W when the smaller published class is appropriate. Its controls are single-speed.
- 35-pint rating and more fan choices: compare the DH3526K1W. Its three-speed page designation and higher certified removal class are the material differences; its area headline is not a room guarantee.
- 35-pint class with two fixed fan speeds plus Auto: compare the separate HD3526. Its exact manual supports a bucket plan and identifies LOW, HIGH and AUTO; app control and an upward drain are not established.
- 50-pint class with a confirmed pump: the DH5026KP1G includes a quick-connect pump hose, but no exact lift or hose-reach maximum is stated in the reviewed materials. Do not choose it for a required numerical pump height without checking its own instructions.
- Raised drain: compare the DH6024KP1WG only if its installed-bucket pump setup fits your measurements. The exact manual’s route and limits apply only to that model.
For the 25- and 35-pint models, the published page does not settle the pump, hose slope, bucketless use, tank size, cabinet dimensions or dry weight. If any of those is a hard need, verify the exact model instructions before buying or select a configuration with a documented route. A model that meets a pint threshold but cannot handle the drain is not a fit.
Read certification as a comparison aid
The 25- and 35-pint records identify HFC-32 and no connected capability; the HD3526 has the same published 2.01 L/kWh IEF and 363 kWh/year program figures as the DH3526K1W. These standardized values are not promises about annual household consumption. Check the complete model label on a listing; this guide makes no price or stock claim. Use each exact configuration’s own manual for controls and water handling rather than transferring features between similar model strings.
